Each appointment is around 90 minutes, this gives us the time to check-in and have a treatment. Of course the option is always yours about what we are doing on that day. If you need to talk – then we talk – if you would rather not talk – we focus on the body.
By providing a safe space free of judgement where you can take the time you need to be seen and heard.
Not really, it depends a lot on what we are treating / working on and what your needs are.
If we are treating a physical presentation, then it is recommended to be consistent with the treatments at least for the initial period of time, until a significant shift in the physical presentation becomes clear, and then from there as you feel is necessary.
If there is no specific physical presentation then the appointments can be as frequent or infrequent as you find helpful.
I studied Traditional Chinese and Japanese style Acupuncture for a total of 5 years and have been practising for more than 12 years. I hold Reiki Master certificates from 3 different lineages starting with Western style more than 20 years ago and now practising Komyo Reiki Do since 15 years.
My shift into this style of healing has been a gradual one that started about 3 years into my acupuncture practice. However it is really in the past 4 years that I have been busy with more self-study and following trainings relating to Process Work and the connections between the body, the mind and emotions – in order that I can bring more knowledge and understanding to the table.
